Meade masterfully mixed multiple disciples - paintings, performance, and photography and turned it into something the world had never seen. Coating her models with paint, she made her models become part of a living, breathing painting. In her words, "The photographic presentations create a tension between the smoothness of the physical photographs and the tactility of the painted installations captured within them, blurring the lines between what is depicted and depiction itself."
